Koi listened as Alabaster explained how his powers worked against his will. How they didn't listen to him. How they didn't help him. She furrowed her brows.
"Well, you wanted to be healed, right? And you were, right? Then, in a way, they worked with and helped you." She tried to esplain, even if he didn't see it that way.

Alabaster
He nodded quietly at her words. "Yeah," He sighed. "But I think it's just self-sustaining... If I die, they die as well..." He rubbed his side quietly, wondering if the bruises were gone. Slowly, he stood, and lifted his shirt, glancing down at his thin chest. Both bruises were gone, and his small torso still slipped like skin over bone. You could see all his ribs, his stomach-line, what little curve he had to his hips...
Disgusted with himself, Alabster pulled his shirt back down, making a face. Why couldn't he be strong and muscular like all the other Reachers? Why did he have to be human?!

Nuyuki "Hmph"ed at what he said, watching intently as he lifted his shirt and exposed hist slightly bony torso. It puzzled her, how different he was. And she couldn't say that it bothered her.

Alabaster
He gave a quiet sigh and glanced down the hallways. No one was there. No footsteps sounded. Not that he could hear, anyway. Koi would hear them long before he did. 'Cause he was stupid and slow and useless. And ugly. That too.
His pale blue eyes shifted to look at her. "We should probably go back," He told her. "You should practice... I'll watch."

Nuyuki shook her head with a smile, standing up. Once again, she offered her hand to the boy. "Nah... I actually have a better idea. But you have to come with me...~" She sung a bit, winking and sticking out her tongue playfully.
OOC; Longer posts in Morning, maybe? ;A;

Alabaster
He was flustered as she offered her hand and practically demanded that he skip class with her. He had never skipped class before, even if he did sit on the sidelines most days. In fact, this had been the fifth time he'd been injured in a week. The day before yesterday it was a concussion!
"Um..." He mumbled nervously, and looked at her with his pale blue eyes. They were two oceans of pale blue, and if you stared into them too long, you could get lost in the pain, misery and suffering they showed. Alabaster knew his pale eyes were unnatural, even for a Reacher. Reachers normally had vibrantly-colored eyes, but instead he had gotten this dull blue. He hated it.
"Okay..." He said finally, and took her hand. He felt something inside of him shiver. Perhaps it was his powers or something else, but whatever it was, he felt even more nervous. The nervousness, of course, got to his stomach, and now his stomach was upset. He almost growled in frustration. He was so frail! He couldn't go one minute without getting injured or sick!
He looked at Koi quietly. Here she was, a perfectly fine example of a Reacher, hanging out with him; the loser half-human. Why would she do that for him? Why would she do that to herself? No one liked him anyway, no one would. He stood there quietly, blue eyes wandering to the blank wall of the hallway, and he wondered what his father had planned for him before he had died. Did he expect his son, a half human, to take over the Order? Not only take over it, but actually work in it? Alabaster had seen Kyth work, and it was nothing like he showed now. Her fighting skills were amazing; she was graceful, powerful, fast, everything a Reacher needed to be.
But she was lonely. Syn and Alabaster were the only people she had now. She used to have Nyun, but everyone knew that wasn't continuing. Rynu was dead. Al closed his eyes quietly at the thought of his father. His amazing father, who had been the best Leader the Order ever had. And soon, his loser son would be taking its place.
Alabaster tried to imagine the Kimata line continuing. No Reacher would fall in love with him, no way. Kyth, maybe. You'd have to be a certain kind of person to get Kyth to fall for you. He couldn't imagine Kyth falling for someone; someone falling for Kyth, maybe. But never her floundering head-over-heels after some hunk, or something like that.
Alabaster's eyes opened slowly and he glanced at Koi. Yes... No one could love him but family. Kyth would continue the Kimata line and he would just be another piece of dust in the wind; another one of the half human Reachers that were killed. In training.
What a miserable little existance.
Heaving a quiet sigh, Alabaster's voice came through his lips, slow and uneasy, "Let's go..."

Koi watched as he stared at her with a light "Uhm", his pale blue eyes looking into hers. She stared at them for a moment, and smiled genuinely, closing her own orbs and tilting her head just slightly. She couldn't stand to look at him, eye to eye. It hurt. She knew it did. Or, at least, she was pretty sure it did. They were a beautiful color, in all truth, but they just held so much sorrow that it just overwhelmed her. And she hoped to fix that. "C'mon, it'll be awesome!"
"Okay..." He replied, taking her hand. She flexed her shoulders at this odd feeling that shot through her, but simply shoved it off with a Grin. He paused, "Let's go..."
Gripping his small hand somewhat tightly, Nuyuki began to Speed Walk down the hall, looking left, right, and behind her every once-in-a-while to check that nobody had seen them. She wondered if there was a courtyard nearby, so they could have a good amount of space... That would probably be best, so nothing would break, should something happen. She sighed a bit wistfully as she turned a corner quickly, still looking every which-way she could. This would be fun, if he cooperated. She knew it would take some prodding, but he might agree in the end. maybe she can help him with his strength and his shyness, just a little. Make him more sociable, easier to talk to. Also make him harder to hit and become injured. It would do him good.
She began to hum a little tune (The "Mission Impossible" one, to be Exact) as the turned yet another corner, where she found a door that led to an outdoors area. "Aha! Perfect!"

Alabaster
He wondered for a moment, why she wouldn't look into his eyes for long. Was she disgusted in him as much as he was himself? If so, why in the world would she stay with him? Why would this girl care enough to keep close? As she dragged him off, he stammered, "W-wait, what are we doing?" He had to run to keep up, and he was jerked left and right as she dodged the occasional Reacher.
At that, they came to the outside doors and he stopped, panting. He glanced out the window and saw the tanned courtyard, the sun gently falling on the softly carved stones, white and pink and purple leaves from the trees nearby floating into the courtyard. The peaceful trickling of a small fountain lay to the right. He looked around quietly.
A gust of breeze brought the soft, pastel-colored petals flying towards them. Some caught in his snowy hair, and a white one landed on his nose. "Oh..." He said quietly, picking it off carefully. He felt the velvety petal for a moment, and then let it float away. He then shook out his hair violently, like a dog, and all the petals went flying into the breeze.
Alabaster sighed.

Ayori laughed as he asked what they were going to do. She grinned at looked at him over her shoulder, "I'm gonna help you!" she was silent the rest of the way there.
Then, finally, they came across the doors. She smiled widely as she placed her hand on the cool Door Handels, slightly ignoring as Alabaster stared out the window, and pulled them open as a gust blew in, sending multicolored petals their way. Giggling as on landed on his nose, she laughed again as he shook his head, then sighed. Clutching his hand, she ed him out into the courtyard. Let the training begin.
Ooc; Wake... up... Muse...!

Alabaster
He was extremely nervous. He guessed that she was going to train him, but he really didn't like the thought of it. He didn't want to hurt her, but he knew that that wouldn't happen. He was more worried about her hurting him. Compared to other Reachers his age, he was weak and frail. His bones could snap like a twig. He was not strong or smart or anything. Just... Alabaster.
"I-I don't know," He whispered nervously. "I've never really..." He trailed off. He had trained with a girl before. Kyth. But Kyth was different; she was Kyth and Koi was... Well, a girl! He was blushing furiously, embarassed at himself.

"I don't know..." He had spoke, looking away from her with a whisper, "I've never really..."
"Oh, c'mon!" She laughed, taking his wrist and pulling into the Courtyard with a grin, "It'll be fun! Nothing to it!" She smiled as she let his arm go, walking a few paces in front of him, then turning to face the boy. Slowly, she raised her fists in front of her, "Plus, I think we both need some training. You with your body, I with my Powers. It's a great opportunity! Don't waste it!" She smiled widely, feet shuffling side to side as she closed her eyes with a tight squint.

Alabaster
He stumbled after her as she pulled him out to the courtyard, and he watched her with anxious eyes as she spoke. "But I can't train any harder than I have been," He whispered quietly, and then found himself wondering what her power was. He watched her in silence as she spread her legs and squinted.
He blinked slowly, unsure about what he was supposed to do. "Um..." He started, and trailed off. Another breeze blew through, blowing the petals all over the place. He had to shake his hair out again to get them all out.

Ayori grinned, eyes till closed tightly, "Then we'll just have to go slow and easy, okay? Try and hit me!" She exclaimed, closing her eyes tighter. "Focus... focus..."
And then, the world became Black and White. All the trees, all the petals... Even the grass, and the sky. There was a black figure there, standing in front of her. It glowed a pale, icy blue. She knew what this meant immediately. Shy, unsure, fragile. Like glass, or a thin layer of Ice. Maybe she could change that. "Well? What're you waiting for!? Hit me with your best shot!"

Alabaster
He watched her anxiously, unsure. He could feel the Ever Power gently nudging him on, encouraging him to go forward, to practice with her. He stepped forward cautiously, anxiety pulsing through him in waves. He didn't want to hurt her.
Then, he remembered that she was full Reacher and he was only half. He couldn't hurt her if he tried. He gathered up his strength and flew at her as fast as he could, which was probably pretty slow for her. He wasn't exactly sure where to hit her so instead he decided to just knock her off balance. He ducked down low as he was in proximity, and his leg flew out to trip her up.

Ayori saw his Aura change, from that icy blue to something around the lines of Determination, but not. He ducked down swiftly, sticking out his leg to trip her. Even with her eyes closed, she jumped ovr the boy and landed around three feet behind him. "Yoo-hoo! Missed me! Missed me!" She laughed a little, sidestepping and jumping around, making herself a harder target, while also making Alabaster harder to focus on.
